How does guest face search work?
When you upload an event, VowPix detects and indexes every face in your photos. A guest opens the gallery link or scans the QR code, takes a selfie, and we compare that selfie against the event in under two seconds. They only see photos they appear in. Selfies are used for matching inside that gallery and can be deleted on request.
Do you compress my photos like WhatsApp or Google Drive previews?
No. VowPix stores the original file bit-for-bit and serves that same file when a guest or client downloads it. Previews are generated separately for fast browsing, but the download is always the original.
Is VowPix better than Google Drive for photographers?
Google Drive is a folder. VowPix is a delivery workflow: AI face search so guests do not scroll 3,000 photos, PIN-protected client selection with favourites that appear in your dashboard, QR sharing at the venue, branded galleries on your own subdomain, and a free photographer website.
How does client album selection work?
Enter the client name, choose the folders they should see, and VowPix creates a secure link plus a 6-digit PIN. Send it over WhatsApp or email. The client taps the heart on photos they love, you see every selection in your dashboard, and you can download all favourites as a ZIP, ready for the album designer.
Can I auto-sync photos from Dropbox?
Yes. Connect your Dropbox account in the Connectors page, map a Dropbox folder to any VowPix event, and anything that lands in that folder (for example a Lightroom auto-export) streams into the gallery automatically, originals intact, with faces indexed on arrival.
Can guests watch the wedding live on the gallery?
Yes. Paste your YouTube Live link in the Live tab of the event and the stream plays right on the gallery, on the same link and QR guests already have. You choose whether anyone with the link can watch or only guests with the PIN, whether a countdown shows before it starts, and whether the replay stays afterwards. Guests get volume and full screen, without the YouTube chat. The free trial includes 5 live streams; every paid plan from ₹199 has unlimited streams.
Is the photographer website really free?
Yes. Every account can publish a one-page website at yourname.vowpix.in with a gallery, packages, WhatsApp contact, enquiry form, Google review link and social links. Free-trial sites stay live for 30 days; any paid plan keeps it published.
